May 2021 marked Angie's completion of her 7th short film, the boundary pushing dark comedy, "The Smartest Dumb Girl." Starring comedians Jenny Zigrino of FabUless and Zainab Johnson of Amazon Prime's Upload.
Angie's black animated series High School High-was a Finalist with the 2020 Sundance Episodic Program.
In the Spring of 2019, she completed her 9th feature screenplay, a Dark Comedy | Drama entitled "The Company She Keeps."
After three attempts, Angie was accepted into the American Film Institute's Directing Workshop for Women with her gutsy script, "Career Virgin;" a comedy short about a teenage girl's fear of being socially crushed by her virginity.
Angie's Rom Com, "How to Date a Celebrity" was a Finalist with the 2015 Cannes Feature Screenplay Contest & her comedy short script "Over & Easy," won a Finalist honors with the 2015 DC Shorts Screenplay Contest & the Boston Film Festival.
Her film"Penis Envy;" a wickedly funny LGBTQ comedy short, screened at three film fest's in 2017 & screened at the 2018 Women's/QFlix Film Festival, Atlanta Black Gay Pride and the Perth Queer Film Festivals.
Recently, Angie enhanced her Dark Comedy/Thriller, "#Captive;" which screened at the 2017 Culver City Film Festival, the 2018 North Hollywood Cinefest Festival and the Eclipse Film Festival in Canada. April of 2018 marked the completion of her 8th short film, the compelling Drama - "The R Word," which premiered at the 2018 MPAC Film Festival in Houston, Texas and won a Semi-Finalist merit with the 2019 AT&T SHAPE.
